What is a STAMP's TEXT PLATE?
Keywords: stencil, die, rubber, polymer, stamp, printing plate, textplate, rubber plate
This is the printing surface, the matrix, which is essentially the basis of the entire stamp - the printing plate. It is produced by engraving into a special blue rubber plate - in the case of classic stamps. The thickness of this rubber is 2.3 mm and the hardness is 60 Shore. The height of the embossing can be higher on customer's request. In the case of EOS stamps, the printing element is made by photo-path into a special already filled printing pad.
All graphics are first prepared in the COREL DRAW graphic program and then engraved using special technology. During the engraving process, the excess area is removed and cut off from the rubber plate (polymer) until the customer's desired impression is created. The engraved page-turned text plate is then inserted / glued into the stamp itself.
