What is STAMP INK?

Stamp ink - can be understood in three ways:

- replacement bottles of stamping ink
- replacement pads inserted directly into COLOP stamps or TRODAT, SHINY stamp
- traditional dipping (soaking) pads for classic non-self-inking stamps


The stamping ink (the first one) is based on water, dye and glycerine. Depending on the type of dye, they are divided into: pigment, colloidal solutions, fast drying, special or safety inks.

Types of inks - according to the printed material, its absorbency, type of use:


Colour 801 - standard (25ml)

- office stamp refills
- water-based ink for refilling stamps - when they stop printing
- standard pads/pads
- suitable for MICRO and TopPad pads - dipping for wooden stamps
- use: for absorbent materials
- colours: black, blue, red, green, purple


809 fast-drying ink (25ml or 250ml)

- APPLY TO CLEAN (NEW UNPAINTED) PAD - must be copied separately
- new fast drying paint
- drying time on the material - up to 2 minutes
- suitable for pagination and metal stamps
- only for special felt pads/pads
- also suitable for EOS stamps
- use: non-absorbent and non-porous surfaces - plastic, glass, CD, rubber (rubber, polyurethylene bags, synthetics,...)
- colours: black, blue, red and white

804 UV paint (25ml or 250 ml)

- APPLY ONTO A CLEAN (NEW UNPAINTED) PAD - must be copied separately
- can only be seen under UV light - so called safety
- only for special felt cushions/pads
- use: for absorbent and non-absorbent materials, discos - for hands
- colours: fluorescent - only visible under UV light


colour 805 archival (25ml or 250ml)

- APPLY ONTO A CLEAN (NEW UNWASHED) PAD - must be copied separately
- oil-based
- for special felt cushions/pads only
- suitable for archiving documents
- use: for absorbent materials
- colours: black


EOS colour (10ml, 25ml and 250ml)

- ink for EOS stamps only
- 10ml bottles will be replaced by 25ml
- can not be used in conventional stamps
- colours: black, blue, red, green, purple, orange and gold


food colour (50ml and 1000ml)

- suitable for MICRO and MAKRO pads
- dipping for plastic / wooden stamps - veterinary, etc.
- colours: brown


textile colour

- quick-drying stamp paint for textile products
- drying time up to 60 seconds.
- to be applied to a dry pad
- only for special felt cushions/pads
- resists washing, bleaching, dry cleaning and bleaching well
- limited use for printing on man-made fibre fabrics (e.g. silk, nylon...)
- before printing, however, it is necessary to remove any finishing from the fabric, otherwise the print will disappear during washing
- printing only with a rubber plate (not polymer)
- the ink can be applied on wool, cotton, felt, canvas, burlap, gloves, uniforms and also on surfaces of artificial fibres (silon, nylon).
