Specially designed staining pad - sized for fingerprint. The pad is impregnated with a special black waterproof version of the ink. It can last up to 1000 impressions. Cannot be refilled (special colour). Prints can then be scanned, digitized and archived. It is also used to compare biometric samples, and these give us the degree of match.
